Speaking of Norway, check this out:

Two Guys You've Never Heard Of Just Released the Song of the Summer

On the whole, I do prefer this song to that nonsense by Alan Thicke.

While I tend to agree that The Official Site for Alan Thicke is not a useful source for musical entertainment, I think you may have meant his offspring, Robin Thicke. ;)

EDIT: Upon further reflection, the idea of seeing Alan Thicke get twerked over by a starlet does fill me with a perverse sense of curiosity. It would certainly be something cool to see on the internet. Or at least morbidly eyebrow raising. Either way.

Oh, right--good point. I keep forgetting there's more than one Thicke.

The Ylvis brothers are very famous domestically, and they've been doing their thing for quite a while. I wholeheartedly recommend their song Stonehenge. Oh, what the hell, have a link:

Their joke songs remind me of a Canadian group, the Arrogant Worms.  I guess the difference though is that the Arrogant Worms do a lot of songs about Canada, but they do have some that are just random:

History Is Made By Stupid People By The Arrogant Worms
I am cow -Arrogant Worms
Jesus' Brother Bob

Saw this posted on another forum.  Gotta feel for the girl because that really has to hurt, but also she needs to learn to hang on better

If there is anything that recent politics has taught us, it is that quotes taken out of context can mean what ever you want them to.
Well I always liked the globals...

Jebas, that's looks horrifically painful. D:

This video here is a musical remix of stuff that was said in an episode of a Let's Play show called Game Grumps (some of you may have seen it.) In it, Jon (aka JonTron) proclaims his victory over his rival and co-host, Aryn (aka. animator Egoraptor). It's actually genuinly good, in my honest opinion.

Not bad eh for something that's supposed to be able to land on planets *and* take off again. Just 9km in length according to that graphic.

Nice one! Apparently the Carribean is the 'Sea of Heroes' and Yucatán means 'I don't understand you!'. Funny how the meanings of those words must've once been obvious to everyone using them.

and Yucatán means 'I don't understand you!'.

For some reason this reminds me of a certain discworld novel  :)

For all those roleplayers out there, who don't know yet the sentence "Lift with the legs Logar, not with the back!", i recommend this movie:

The Gamers (Part 1 of 5)

and another movie by the same producers ("how many exp do i get for the bard?"):

The Gamers: Dorkness Rising

No problem, I'll give you a 100% increase in pay effective immediately and retroactive to 1999.

Star Wars art work.

I rather liked this.  It's some of the original concept art for a number of the Star Wars films.  It's a shame that they didn't include more pictures.

Every now and then the StarCraft community produces something- a song, a short movie, an animation, whatever - that's quite funny if you've ever player StarCraft itself. So here you have the annoying fox song by Ylvis that has been properly nerdified:
What Does The Drone Say (Ylvis - The Fox) - Viva La Dirt League

(and if you're into nerdy stuff concerning StarCraft then check out Carbot animations. and Temp0.)
"Tylko jeśli szybowałeś przez niebo na skrzydłach z ognia możesz zrozumieć Jastrzębia"

BYB is too close to BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze) which is how I started gaming anyways. The proper way.

Carbot animations is amazing! They have the most adorable zerglings you'll ever see. :P

Anyway, found a page with absolutely mindblowing minis. Dunno if anyone here's know of them.

For the roleplayers out there: a planet generator.
Planet generator

The exe file doesn't work on my machine  :'( the web interface looks promising though, so today, I will try to find a nice C compiler :/
