So I'm seeing all these lists that try to pigeonhole Magnus into a Flying Circus, or run him with a bunch of summoning Exalted Sorcerers or even try to run him with Rubric Marines. Here's how you run Magnus.

30 Warp Charge, and a lot of bodies and not a whole lot else. If you want, shuffle some points to add more Cultists, or a Nurgle Sorcerer to give Magnus +1 Toughness or heal him.

I'm not counting quite 30 warp charge. More like 28. Is Typhus more powerful than I remember?

As you imply, this list looks dreadfully boring to play. I'm pretty bummed out that Blue Horrors (and Horrors in general) seem so indispensable to Tzeentch CSM players these days. They are kinda dull.

It's quite fun. You don't even really need to do anything with the rest of your army except move it on objectives and "not die" while Magnus uses all their Warp Charge.

You're short a unit of Horrors, then. There's only five of them there.

Magnus only gets 5 powers a turn. That's a bunch of shots, but not an overwhelming amount of firepower, really. I guess there's nothing stopping a Gaze of Magnus a turn, though, so that's nice. Great on defense, but the offense isn't incredible.
