Are Phoenix Lords the "weakest" HQ choice or do they have their own little niche.

They seem to be neglected compared to the Avatar & Farseer.

Too expensive??

Sorry John, you've got a wrong number...

Your opponent MUST let you use the Avatar, or Farseer, as they are generic Characters, however, any and all of the Phoenix Lords are "Special Characters", and can only be used on your foes (foolish) approval.
All of them absolutely ROCK, and a couple of them can collapse a whole flank by themselves.

You should have seen how Asurmen tore through a whole squad of Blood Angels Death Company.  My opponent was just stunned.

So if you had to choose one of them who would it be and why?

I know that mission objective / opposing army type is a huge factor in this...but indulge me.

Asking players permission to use them - how unsavoury!!!
