I have a bunch of models I inherited from a friend and they have colors completely different from my own. At first I ran them as a specialist wing of my own craftworld that used their own colors, but as my army has expanded, these models look increasingly out of place. I have decided to redo them in my craftworld's colors.
My question becomes, do I paint over the existing layers with my own colors or do I strip the current paint and start over? I have read over the information page on stripping from this forum, and it seems like a decent option, but it seems like painting over them would be simpler overall. I am not a great painter by any stretch of the imagination so I would like to here other opinions on what my best option is here.
Extra info:
The models in question are painted mostly black, my actual primary colors are bleached bone and turquoise.
