What is the difference between these two websites?

eldaronline is specifically eldar and has more stuff, 40k.ca is more 40k in general and has less stuff cos it's newer. you name etc works for both cos they're by the same people

EO is a website about eldar with a message board.
40k.ca is a message board without a "normal" website.

Hello all,

EO is the EldarOnline community, so it's a community based on eldar.
40K.CA is community composed of communities (at elast, that's the intention). One of the communities of 40K.CA is the EO community.

So with 40K.CA they are trying to get multiple communities from multiple established websites together and make one mage-supportive community (at elast, that's what I believe that it is).

EO is a website about eldar with a message board.
40k.ca is a message board without a "normal" website.

that's only because there hasn't been enough time   to get it fully running

Ok EO is simply put a place only for Eldar, now 40.ca will be a website dedicated to all the other races. At the moment you can only access the Boards at the moment as they are still creating the full website.

40K.ca/community/index.php is the boards, 40.ca is the unaccesable site.

To be really specific: according to me there is only one big difference: The collours. Try to replace "eldaronline.com" for "40k.ca" or vica versa in the website name. You'll get the same site, but in other collours. The main page looks a bit different, but that's all.

How about I tell you the difference? ;)

EO is a place for Eldar, Dark Eldar, Harlie, and Exo players... We have tried, for the past two years to make the largest and most informative community for these players.

Due to the popularity of EO, many of our members have requested that we do the same for all the other races.  That said, it would be a very ambitious goal to try to make EO for all the other sites, but we believe that with the help of many of our members, that we can do this.  Since then, we've opened up 40k.ca's forums and it's booming already even without a website.  The website shall be coming soon - we're waiting on some software that would help the site run a lot smoother.

We already have several cool projects for EO and we're working on them constantly.  Hopefully soon we'll have a website out.  40k.ca will always be a work in progress because there is an endless amount of content we would want to have on the site.

I look forward to having everyone contribute their talents after the site is up.

I hope that answers your question.
Just a fan of this awesome site.
