Topic: Destroyer Themed Army 1500pts

I was pondering with different themed Necron Armies and this one came out on top its mainly Destroyers and fast moving units.

Anyways heres my list.

2 x 10 man Warrior Squads

3x Destroyer Squads
Gauss Cannons

3 Heavy Destroyers

Grand Total=1500pts


Thats basically the list, its fast moving and hard hitting and tons of firepower.

It also has a lot weaknesses my Phase out is pretty low but its not a bad army all in.

Hmm, not sure about a Lord and Deciever in a 1500pt army. I would take one or the other, but I can see it working. What you lack in numbers you make up for in a discusting amount of shots.

How many are in the Destroyer squads, BTW?

Since he said 450p Destroyers it should be 9 of them.
And that is quite a lot at 1500p, I usually only use 8 D's at 1700p and I love Destroyers. Been thinking of getting 7 more for a year now :-)

Actually the normal Destroyers is so good that I destroyed an Armoured Company with only 8 of them at 2300p and No Hvd's.

Yes its 3 Squads of 3 Destroyers, but you have to keep in mind that they are the best cannon fodder units in the game.

And would you say if its cheesy/beardy.

nah, wouldnt say its cheezy.. to get a cheezy army? 3 monoliths, or 30 immortals and a night bringer..

im gonna use alot of destroyers too... imhavin 5 heavy destroyers, 5 destroyers and 10 immortals in 1500pts.. stupid amount of shots dont u think?
