u have 2 sand timers, one measures 11 min the other measures 7 min, how do you time 15 min exactly?

I turn around both timers. When the 7 min timer has finished, I turn it again and wait until the 11 min timer is finished. Since 11-7=4, 4 minutes have passed for the 7 min timer at this moment. So I just turn it again, and when it's finished, 11+4=15 minutes have passed :)

Ok so mr. Talos Farmer has a sheep, a wolf and some hay. He has to get these across a river. But he can only carry one at a time. If he leaves the sheep alone with the hay, it will eat the hay. If he leaves the wolf alone with the sheep, it will get eaten by the wolf. Think fast human. ;D

Here are three easy riddles:

"What is it we spend half of our life trying to lose?
And half of our life trying to regain?"

"I fly through the air on small feathered wings,
Seeking out life, and destroying things."

"Alive without breath,
As cold as death;
Never thirsty, ever drinking,
All in mail never clinking."

Box without hinges
Lid or lock
Golden treasure
inside if you knock.

it's an egg, if you think about it.

hmm...about the bird, man, otter thing....it's got to be lungs....is it?

okay, here's one:

you're trapped inside a room with a door (reinforced door; no breaking it down :P) that has a keyhole, and nothing else.  the only other thing besides you in the room is a piano.  how do you get out?

(hint: it's a play on words.....ah, shizzy, I probably gave it away already.... ::))
