Been a few years. Decades. Anyone I know still show their wrinkly faces around here?
-
Slim to none I'm afraid. Rasmus even got married and headed off beyond the rim with the rest of the first ones.
-
No Rasmus? Eldanesh? Pikachu?
-
Afraid not, not for the past eight or more years. Now and again an old timer will pop up and say hello before returning to their slumber. There's not a lot of us left from 2002 or prior.
-
Feeling a bit sleepy now, myself....
-
Back to the Infinity Circuit so quickly?
It was nice meeting you, Warhoon. Afraid I only joined in 09 or thereabouts.
-
A CHILD.
-
I'm still hurt, man! It's been 6 years since you last crept out of your hole and still no mention of me.
*sigh*
-
Dood! I hereby mention Lomandalis!
Apparently I know GrimSqueaker, too, but he's changed his name and I'm not making the connection....
-
I've had numerous different names over the years. Perhaps Barr'el O'Rum?
-

If it helps GrimSqueaker used to be called Cimex Digitus back in 2002 and Fio'ul Must'eli'dae in 2003.
-
I've been here for a little while too. Back in the eldar online days.

That was my joining name. It didn't last too long.
-
About a year from what I can gather then you changed it to Fio'ul Must'eli'dae in 2003. Warhoon was most active 2002 to 2004.
-
I took a year off EldarOnline at some point in there. The transition to 40kOnline happened during my sabbatical.
-
Makes me nostalgic for the days that EldarOnline and 40k.ca were the same forums, but accessed through two different websites. If you wanted Eldar forums, you had to go through EO, and if you wanted everything else it was 40k.ca

I've been here for a little while too. Back in the eldar online days.
Same. I'm not the most prolific post but I've been on here for nearly a decade and a half. This is the single forum I have been active on (on-and-off...) for the longest time.

I remember you being here for ages.

Isn't it always great when you can use a decade as a time reference for something?
I think I first joined back in 2000 when I found the original EldarOnline board. That black and yellow monstrosity that could only be navigated if you had installed a pop up blocker.
-
I've been here at least a decade, but I still seem to be a newbie compared to a lot of you guys. I'm post-EldarOnline, at any rate.
-
I'll have been here for ten years this September. It doesn't feel like a decade to me. I wish I had been here from the start, but I was a latecomer to the internet. Reading all the old topics when I joined the Staff was very informative though.
-
I wonder if anyone has a video of the old flash intro cinematic saved anywhere
-
I’ll have been here ten years come October, but I still feel like a young un.
-
Any younger we'd have to water you. ;)

You can find it on the Wayback When Machine, or at least you used to be able to. There's an old topic about this in another board which you'll probably be able to find ;).

Yeah you disappeared from May 2002 until August 2003. I remember Eldar Online but I never became a member as I was already on Games Workshop's old forum. Did Eldar Online end in 2003 then?
Did everyone that was a member of EO have to sign up to become a member of 40konline?
I joined 40konline in mid 2005 when the GW forum got taken down. If anyone remembers the GW forum as well I was Clujo on there.
-
Essentially, 40K Online was a merger of the old Eldar Online and 40K.ca forums. It didn't involve existing members having to create new accounts.
Eldar Online and 40K.ca ended in 2004, although I'm not exactly sure when. You'll need a truly gnarled penguin to be able to impart that piece of information.
-
This was actually the first site I ever joined period. We were very late comers to the Internet. Didn’t upgrade to broadband until 2007.
-
I joined during my military service in 2009, I believe, though I'd been lurking for probably at least a year before then.
Positively toddlerian on my part, yes.
-
I joined after Portent.net died, and all your lives were enriched thanks to my knowledge of the W40K rules, hilarious wit and infamous kindness to fools.
Ah, the good old days...

Hello?
-
You're of 2006 heritage Starrakatt and you're most definitely not an Ancient :P. It's good to see you though :).
-
Hello to you too Starrakatt!
-
Actually, if your membership number is over 10,000 you don't even get to pretend your knees hurt in the morning. beslubbering want-to-bes.
-
Thank you gentlemen.
Not being active, just hopping on the forums a couple time a year, I have NO idea about anything GW these days, and not really interested tbh, too much of a time commitment.
Also, who wants to be an anciant anyway, snobish peacocks needing to move their underused prostates in a wheelbarrow?
Nah.

(yawn .... turns to other side)
-
Ancients, not pretenders. ::)

Hey Try, whilst you might not be considered an Ancient by some standards it is nice to know you are still about and looking in on us. Know any good rumours?
-
Like the 40K Funko pops? Looks like April 30th for those.
-
Not sure I count that as a good rumour. Don't see the appeal myself.
