Topic: Razzle Dazzle?

With Thanks Giving imminent my workload for uni and work has decreased sharply.  So I decided to pick up a paintbrush and try (again) to finish painting my army.  That was when it dawned on me that my army has no character.  Sure, the various aspects had their own special coloration, but they always do.

With nothing better in mind, I decided to cop out and just add camouflage to a few units.  Researching camouflage patters on Wikipedia, I came across Razzle Dazzle.  I thought that looked unique in itself, just the thing to add some character to my army.  So I grabbed a viper, the secondary colors of my army, and went to work testing it out.




Granted, my painting skills aren’t the best, I'm not finished yet, and this is all free hand, but I think with a little refining it could look alright.  Thoughts? Feedback?

that scheme does indeed have potential, perhaps if you highlight along the panel edges to give it more definition that would really make it shine !

Thanks for the input!  Has anyone tried dazzle before?  I'm interested in knowing any pitfalls to watch out for.

Never tried it but i think a bit of planning would be very good, just need a template or so.
