I've updated the list... there are only 3 places left...

Note, g00gle5, you are not currently on the list? are you playing in this years event or only going to be barking orders instead?

Of course Mutley he will be following the vote that is at the top of the list and bringing a codex list, not a forgeworld list, as the majority have agreed.

Or are we just ignoring what has been decided by the populus?

I'm not be-atching, but i thought we made a decision about this.  Can one of the organisers just decide.

However, everything about Tarrin is unfair and should be sanctioned with extreme prejudice.

The Globals have issued a 2:1 ruling that yes, yes everything about Tarrin is indeed unfair. We have also been sullied merely by contemplating this.

Actually though:

10 people are happy for others to bring forge world army lists (only 4 of them say that they think the vanguard assault list should not be allowed.

Contrary to that 9 people would rather no forge world army lists (and of those, only 2 would like to limit the forge world units allowed).

majority rules... forge world army lists allowed - and seeing as no one is actually thinking of brining the vanguard assault list then its not really that much of an issue... we know this because the pack rules specifically state that those wanting to bring forge world lists need to advise us of that beforehand. Also, g00gle5 decided that the vote was a bit of a waste anyway, as the pack kind of cemented that we should allow forge world lists anyway and he was of the opinion that we were all being nancies!!!

(you will note that he is likely not playing this year so we won't get the opportunity to show him otherwise on teh field of battle!)

Fine.  I read the poll above as every other as a first past the post.

Someone has made a decision and that is all good. No worries.  ;D

Mmmm, I assumed first past the post as well.
I'm not sure I see the point of calling a vote and then fiddling the result.

Never mind.

Hi

Sorry I hadn't checked this at all until last night when unbidden a thought crossed my mind "Hmmm haven't you signed up for a tournament?" ....*thinks* D'oh!

Sorry about the earlier confusion I will keep an eye here in future.

Cheers, Matt the fluffmaster and Brizzel born loon
I was once asked whether I considered voting for the Conservatives... I said yes I had. When I got stuck in a remote area of Wales due to heavy snow, I logically assumed hell had in fact frozen over and I had to eat my earlier comments on the subject and temporarily considered voting for them. Thankfully the snow abated I escaped that dark dream.

That doesn't ignore the fact that 10 people are happy for people to have FW army lists. Whilst 9 would rather not. FPTP works on the basis of two choices... so technically, we do still have that - just that additionally people have been able to express a further opinion.

besides, as mentioned - g00gle5 has already had a go at us for Tremultuous O-footing around and whinging.

To be fair, they did try and change it... but for some reason the country decided that a better voting system was not a good thing!?  :o

The rules pack is quite clear over what forge world items are allowed and what restrictions are included... for example, nothing with structure / mass points (or equivalent) is allowed. Other than that you MUST make sure that you bring along the full and up to date rules for any units you wish to use (FW or otherwise!).

I'm not familiar that either of those have structure points, though I imagine that the Blood Slaughterer does (correct me if I'm wrong!?)

The blood slaughterer doesn't have structure points, its like the ultimate World Eater dreadnought.

I won't take any Blight Drones, they are way overpowered, I don't think anyone wants fast skimmer units with 36" battlecannons flying around.

I have all the up to date rules for both.

Well, I definately love the look of the blood slaughterer, it would be nice to see one in the flesh! (and frantically shoot it to death of course!)

The entire army is made with FW models so it fits in perfectly.

The blight drones nasty but not that bad really, mutley's friend greg has 2 and 2 bloodcrushers and the plague defiler thingy and its perfectly beatable.
Bring em along if you like, many people will just love to fight something different and nice looking (in a rottten type of way lol)

Na, I'm going to stick with the pure World Eater list (normal chaos with the Blood Slaughterer, which I never use as I don't like FW in normal 40k)
