Yes!!!!

That went well...not a victory, per se, but a good, even draw using a cleanse mission.

My Dark Eldar held their own on their debut battle, against my manager's ultramarines!  Maybe he went a bit easy on me...but I had so much fun!!!

Feel free to skip the next bit...just my totally excited ramblings...

My Ravager was gone after turn one...EVERY darklance shot I took at his Dreadnought kept missing...my wytches didn't have the best time, and my warrior squads got munched by one of his tactical squads.

BUT--a bit of luck from one of my raiders and the remnants of one of my warrior squads came through, taking out his Rhino and a good chunk of a tactical squad, and held its own against his bike squad for long enough to contest the quarter!

Then it was 'Go Time'...my HQ unit hacked its way through his untouched Devestator squad and charged an open field to take his remaining tactical squad, break 'em, and keep them from getting the quarter in the last turn!

Heh-heh...and I also took a total of four innocent SM slaves to take back with me and torture horribly...

I'm stunned by how totally excited and just estatic I am...I can remember every move of the game, and I'm still just grinning like an idiot...

I love this game...

HAR HAR HAR!
I just finished taking out the harli's for the first time, I've still got a woody! Fought the blood angels and tore them a proverbial new one, once the smoke cleared I had killed off every single one of his models and had a wraithlord, my grand harli on a jet bike, my shadow seer with harli's and my solitare left alive. (Smug) THIS is what makes life worth living. ;D

I currently just own a few squads of warriors and one of wytches...

So I used all of the store's DE models, and my Ravager was an Imperial Chimera in for proxy.

Don't beat your boss too badly, or he might start scheduling you to close one day and open the next. After all, he *is* a marine player, and they're invincible... aren't they? :P

Congrats! But you didn't use any wyches?

*looks down at the corpses littered about*

Uhh...I'd share the slaves...but I ate their souls already...sorry...

*scuffs toe in the dirt sheepishly*

Although it was pretty neat--my boss let me keep one of the slaves, a model he uses to test paint schemes on...*pets her pretty slave*

Mwahahhaha!!!

Cool! That should be a rule! Lose to a DE army, give away one model...  :P

That would be cool, but you know how it is.  I could live with a nice SM collection, even if they are just basic marines.  Could use them already painted for body parts.... then it would be less work for me and less money.  I was thinking about picking up some SM stuff parts and so forth so I could, but there isn't any good places to get bits cheap.  My friend might allow me to take some of his left overs, but I wish I could get some more cheap.

I agree they should and ebay doesn't seem to have the best prices at least not what I can pull up.  Most of them are very specific bits, they don't have much leftovers which surprised me... guess they want to keep them like I do.

You can get some interesting bits from GW under Warhammer fantasy-Undead accessories I believe. Or something to that affect. They have all sorts of skulls, gravestones, and other funny stuff. Every now and then I buy a box of skeletons and use them for decoration.

yeah they are kind of expensive.  Besides I want helmets, armor, SM arms  ;D.  I want to show freshly killed people, because my Kabal raids too much to let the heads they have decompose, by then they already have a plethora of new heads  ;D ;).  I would also think about some other races heads and stuff, but right now, I mainly fights SM, and besides... I just like using the different color schemes for the different sections of the SM.  It might be cool to put if I use slave chains on my raider though, show that they don't take the best care in keeping them clean :).  All the options... But thanks for the ideas I will look into it some more.

The stores by me have junk cases where people sell old minis that have been beaten down by time, maybe someone near you does the same?

Yeah that is a good idea.  Thanks for everything, I am sure there has to be some store around here that has that.  I am also looking into selling GW stuff, so who knows I might be that store soon lol.
