Well, actually, I am just about to pack up and go to bed. it is over midnight where I live now... ::)
Got to paint some Midnight blue on my wych raider. And a bit of space wolves grey linings on the front. they didn't become nice, though, and I have to repaint...later :(

Midnight Blue at midnight; what a coincidence. ;D

yes, indeed it is...
Painting again...my Space Wolf Grey is waay too thick. Need to be watered out...

for shading you should have it the consistency of milk, if you can't be bothered to use paint that thin something closer to hot custard is desirable (not in temp. terms obviously) you know if you've got it right cos knocking the pot over doesn't mean it flows immediately everywhere but instead gives a fairly widespread but thick covering of paint on the expensive carpet...
and yes i know from experience.

yeah the consistancy is important. and if you're using GW paints you should never use them straight, they always need a chaser... I mean need to be watered down.

goodnight

Yeah I've had problems with Space Wolf Grey as well. I really didn't like it as I thought. I ended up using Shadow Grey and then using Space Wolf Grey as a highlight

have you gone to bed yet?

I love satyig up late sometimes. But only if I've slept beforehand. ;D
