Here are some images of my army. Not everything is 100% done and I hadn't really sorted out highlighting yet when I did these.

Just some work on my tau sept. This is by far NOT the entire army, Just segments that i wanted to show off here on 40k online. Once every thing is painted i will post a full screen shot of them. Until then enjoy these pictures:

Shas’el Bork’an J’Kaara’Por
“Ninja tau” Cadre
Bork'an Sept

The "Parade ground / Deployment zone" (think ending of Star wars Ep.2 with all the clones getting on the ships) was a idea of mine that i wanted to try. So i stole took my moms materials from her projects around the house and made my own area for my models to rest on when they arent being shot up. C&C welcome plus any ideas for the deployment zone would be welcome also!

I like the Commander and Broadsides the most. The paint lines on the Broadside are excellent, and your Commander is cool.

It's cool to shoot 2 plasma cannons.....INTO YOUR PLAGUEMARINES.

those are Gue'vesa - Humans that are fighting for the tau. Certainly not in the codex, but they were approved by GW on their website at one point. able to carry tau weapons with markerlights and have some ability to survive in CQB? Yes please!

They held against a dreadnaught one time allowing my guys to escape in the devilfish. That was a good game

Here's my Tau "Grand Alliance" army.  Emphasis on the diversity of the Tau Empire's many species with a sneaky/ambush theme.

Kroot!

Vespid.  Bzzzzz...

Shadowsun and 3-man stealth team.

More stealth suits.

Sniper controllers and Broadsides.

Fire Warriors.

I wonder why old army topics got deleted ...

anyway here's my hunter cadre, from Tau'n

I love the idea of being explorer, it's a nice excuse for my tau to be far away from home, somewhere they're not supposed to be...

Most is tabletop worthy, but not really best paint job ever, it's just all still WIP, too busy with other armies.

I'll get back to my tau in a few years, It's not a big army, I'm pretty sure I can finish in a matter of months. Since it's mostly table top worthy I don't consider it a priority.
The Dark Moon Kabal ,possibly the biggest DE army ever!

so i was just browsing this post.. put in some feedback, guys >.< look at most of the other 'hey look at my pro army paintjob' posts, everyone is helping each other, complimenting or giving feedback

Cohocat- I like the camo patterns on the vehicles, its simplistic but really works, kroot could use some more work, perhaps just picking out claws, weapons and eyes would do nicely
Dregogg- they look good, keep working and get yourself battle ready =P
Evil_Toast- they look fantastic, great looking army.
Yarrick- I like the gloss... on the vehicles, and maybe on the battlesuits.  it's a little much on the warriors ;)
Kharandil- great work on your paints, as always, but what, no snake warriors?  ;) =P
Sonsoftaurus- i love armies based around a central idea like yours.  While it might not be the most competative (or maybe you find it is, who am i to say?) i like it regardless
swampyturtle-if you added more fire warriors and devilfish, yea i could see the picture you were going for, as it is your too few =( but they look great, i particularly like the battlestuits
pdelair- you've done an amazing job recreating the codex army, i would have immediatley assumed you worked for GW had i seen them, they look so similar, great work

So, as suggested here is my Sa'Cea Night Assault Cadre from the Painting board:

Full Army:

Commanders:

Troops:

Transports:

Elites

Custom Sniper Team

Hammerheads

The army is (for now) finished, with lists made for 500, 1000, 1250 and 1500 points. Comments wanted on the models! Thanks for the look!

I've gotta say i really like the little fire warrior commander you made.  He looks pretty good.  Also, The troops in general look pretty good, i like the scheme.

The tanks look good at range, but once you zoomed in it got kind of messy.  I would suggest smaller splotches, (but more) with thinner lines of the blue

although that FW commander looks great, how do you use him in game?  Is he to represent when your commander uses his ejection pod special wargear?
