'Nid rule's loop hole?
« on: September 13, 2005, 10:40:25 PM »
ok i was flipin through the new 'Nid codex and the 4th edition rule boOK like i was doing a research paper and i noticed something, in the back of the rule book on page 264 it classifies Leaping warriors & gaunts as beasts. so because of this they folllow the beast special rules right?  and because of this the gain FoF and a 12 inch assault range.
now is this still valid as the 4th edition rule book was printed before the 4th edition 'Nid codex

I quote from 4th edition Tyranid Codex "Leaping creatures gain a fast charge of 12", though they do not become beasts."  So yes, your hormagaunts will leap, and have fleet of claw, but warriors will not...

He's right.  The section in the back of the BGB was for already-existing rules.  The rules changed when the new Codex came out.
Actual quotes from George W. Bush:
"The problem with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur."
"More and more of our imports are coming from overseas."
"It's hard to put food on your family."
