that rule is not as clear to find as you might think...

it works on the idea near the beginning of the rules that "models" block movement...

it is hinted at during teh assualt rules too - where you cannot move "through" your own / enemy models.

Flesh hooks, eh? I never thought of putting flesh hooks on my hormagaunts but now that I checked in my codex I saw that they were really cheap and I'm putting a cityfight talbe together where they really would come in handy. I'll think about that :)

Edit: Crap, I don't have nearly enough hooks..

don't worry about modelling them onto the models, look at the shorter limbs on the hormagaunt there are your flesh hooks

Both :D
They're hook shaped and made of flesh (the platic flesh of the nids) thus flesh hooks - thus WYSIWYG
And yet you'd have to tell your opponent anyway otherwise they might not notice them!

  • To kill, or not to kill, that is the question...

flesh hooks are a must-have for nearly any battle, they can let you move over vertically impassible terrain and they count as frag grenades in melee (correct me if im wrong) so then if they are in cover your adrenal gland (I) doesn't become obsolete.
