Topic: My First Eldar Army

Hey now this is my first Eldar army ever, it is a 2000 pt list and I will post pictues when I have got and painted the models.  This is the first time I have ever done anything like this so here goes.

8 Guardian Storm with Warlock with Conceal + Wave Serpent

1 Vyper with Vectored Engnes, Scythes, Starcannon
8 Swooping Hawks + Exarch with Web of Skulls and SP
Wraithlord with Starcannon
Fire Prism with Spirit Stone, Crystal Targeting Matrix, SCannon
Wave Serpent with Spirit Stone, Crystal Targeting Matrix,T-L Starcannons + Catapults (goes with Guardian Storm Squad)
8 Fire Dragons plus Exarch with Firepike, Burning Fist
5 Wraithguard plus Warlock with Conceal

         

the spredsheet did not copy very well but you get the idea.  Can you let me know what you think I am not following any CW BTW.

its ok, alright then, your 16 man guardians squad, put a weapon platform, for your storm squad, put in 2 flamers and destructor on warlock, jet bikes are ok, but could be taken out for better units, remove vectored engines from vyper, get aotehr wave serpant for the fire dragons, take off ctm from the wave serpant you have, put the wraithguard unit also in a wave serpant, if you take out the jetbikes you will have extra points, maybe enough for 1-2 basic Wave serpants, hope this helps

You don't exactly have real close combat elements.  You should put in a squad of scorpions with scorpions claw instead.  Also Rangers aren't that great in such small numbers.  Either drop them or make them one squad.  I'd give the Storm Guardian Warlock Destructor instead of conceal and give 2 of the guardians flamers to give them a bit more OOOMPH before charging into close combat.  Oh and also add in one more storm guardian to make full use of the Wave Serpent carrying capacity.

Vectored engines are absolutely useless in 4th edition rules so take them out.  Also scythes are next to useless.  Jetbikes are too expensive for what they do.  Get Warp Spiders to do the Jetbikes job more effectively.  Fire Prisms that hit only half the time are pretty useless unless you get a Farseer with guide which is not really worth it.
