Topic: When does the big bomb drop?

On the deffcopta when do you use the big bomb?  Do you drop it during the movement phase or the shooting phase?

I am hoping for it to drop during the movement, so i can drop a bomb, shoot them, then assault them hehehehe

I would say that you would drop it in the movement phase but you will not be able to fire another weapon that round and you may assault, that's atleast how I interpret it.

Bigbomms are not shooting attacks - they're a movement phase effect, much like Yriel has a shooting style weapon that's used in the Assault phase [so do C'tan]. None of these preempt your ability to shoot in the shooting phase. The bigbomm can be dropped as you fly over the enemy, and then you can fire the big guns at the same [or a different!] unit once your shooting phase begins.
