Yo, thanks!

I'm very mediocre at painting, its easy with attempts to highlight twice using red gore then redgore 1:1 with fiery orange.

The blueish/grey highlights on armour and guns is the old 'hideous blue' GW color, a slightly bluer and lighter version of shadow grey.

the blue hair is enchanted blue lightly drybrushed 3 times with increasing mix of skull white

the skin is a coat of dheneb stone

Couple of my wyches

And a few of my wyches running around like fools :P

And finally  my Hekatrix

The bases still aren't done as I have no idea how to do a good base and since this is the best painting I have ever done I don't want to do a horrible base for it.

My Archon and bodyguard

White is the colour of death and he's turning up to your funeral  :o

Some wyches he hired.

Not sure if I want my army to have a unified feel, I ike the idea that DE armies are assembled from disparate groups all working i their own self interest.

Feedback good or bad very welcome :)

ooooh i like your archon! very nice. as it happens my deldar are being painted up with a bone/white theme.

i also like the different factions of the DE army being painted differently so cool there also. the only thing i can i can say is although your wyches are nicely painted, the paint scheme you have chosen is SUPER common like crazy super common. now i think it works as it is a nice scheme and it offsets nicely with your uncommon archon theme.

other than that really nice work man.

white DE ftw!

I agree on the wyches being super common. Its the Red Grief colour scheme.

I did them before I relised and was considering painting the suits white to tie them in with the Archon.

I am not sure if it will work but I will do a test model before I paint my other two squads.

Okayy after much adue and stripping of models!.... I FINALLY decided on a colour scheme... this model is still WIP and i quite literally went right back to the start and have gone with the all typical kabal of the black heart.... but my way.... I've still got lots of edge highlighting left to do and other details but here's the main jist of it.... what are peoples opinion on my take of the scheme.... i see it as 'old school' remember... it's not finished yet...
Every transport vehicle in 40k with equal front/side armor should always take advantage of the 'turny' trick.... ESPECIALLY DARK ELDAR RAIDERS!!! (Cheese throwing ensues!)

@Venkh,
Amazing use of both white and purple. Really well done.
In general, I have to admit that the Dark Eldar models turned out even better than I expect them. They lend themselves really well to most colors, nut just dark ones.
Excellent job to all.

I LOVE the reflection effect on the Reaver helmet. Is that just white and blue? Did you have anything in mind when drawing it i.e. reflecting clouds or did you just paint it to seem like random reflections?

Edit:
Yes, reaver not ravager. My bad! Thanks Laharl.

This is my version of the Duke.  The main body is the metal Archon and the arms are plastic from the Warrior and Wych kit. I chopped up the right sword arm from the Warrior kit to turn it into a left arm.  Going with the Pirate aspects of the character, I used the head from the Dark Elf Corsair with an eye patch.  The winged critter flying behind him is a wood elf sprite I painted up and hacked up the wings.  Wanted it to look like some strange poisonous creature that he may have. Was picturing a 'alien parrot' sort of thing for it. Here he is, sorry for the blurryness of the image.
