I'm going to have to take a drive one weekend to beat you at 40k and restore my not so good name!

In any case; it's not because she wears the trousers... it's because she wears the lingerie.

you cant do that! i've been enjoying calling you a nancy these past months, even more so now that other people are joining in :P

The rules pack is down, any idea where i can get a look at another one? Might have to have a look, funds could mean this is a worthy venture...
the only hope you have is to accept the fact that you're already dead. And the sooner you accept that, the sooner you will be able to function the way a soldier is supposed to function -- without mercy, without compassion, without remorse. All war depends on it.

Don't cry for the Happy dead
But weep for those who dread to die.

This sentence is very confusing.
My poor spelling doesn't help I'll admit.  To clarify
I live in London. I have to travel this weekend, East to Suffolk to see my brother. Vanguard is I believe in Bristol, the West. Hence I will be travelling in the opposite doirection.

Shame as I really wanted an excuse to visit Bristol and see you guys at Vanguard and this would have been a great opportunity.
Any future events planned ??

EDIT: just visited the Vanguard website (very swish) and seen Vanquish is held April Time. Its In The Diary...

Hehehehe fantastic reply Oink! :)

Well put your foot down for the Vanquish tourny then in April ;)

And you are always welcome to drive to Zaandam, just above Amsterdam, for a game of 40k ;)

I think the bit that confused me was your "brothers family". it didn't occur to me that you might not have meant "brothers parents"...

To be honest its not the first time my Jeremy Kyle worthy family has caused confusion.

On topic, well sort of, when roughly does Vanquish take place? (when is April I mean)

Normally near the beginning of the month, usually the first full weekend. Normally.

Oink, stop being a meany. You're in no position to mock people when you have a lame 'party' to go to.

Thank you Hymril, I knew I could rely on you for a modicum of sensibility.

EDIT: I have provisionally pencilled in the first 14 days of April as a "non-bookable event space" so my wife doesn't plan another riviting day trip to the garden centre.

Vanquish sounds more feasible as if my family know sufficiently far in advance, they won't double-book. Hopefully.

Mutley, if you keep on with that, you'll kill the joke. Y'know, if it's not dead already.

That second link works thanks, the first just 404's on me.

I'll have a look at the calender and the wallet, if i can afford this, i'm definitely in.
