I've no connection with the makers or movie. Merely found it. GW may nuke it eventually.

That was *really* good for a fan-made film. The Tyranids were especially impressive.
-
There's a lot of professional grade stuff coming out these days. The Judge Minty, Strontium Dog, and Rogue Trooper shorts were superb for instance.

Amazing. It's what I picture a 40k Netflick series might look like.

That was pretty nice, thanks for sharing.

This is the same guy who who's been making the phenomenal Helsreach video series, he's great! If you're not caught up on Helsreach, you really ought to be. I think he compiled all the current videos into a single volume.

Well, saved the link, will watch when I get the time, thanks!

Showing that GW *can* learn eventually, they liked this guy's work so much they hired him to do it officially.

Don't get me wrong, I am super thrilled that GW is going with a dedicated fan to do an animated series. But considering that it is animated, I think they may have been better off going with this guy:

I could watch that video for hours.

Don't forget about this bad boy, coming soon!

I hadn't watched any of Helsreach before until the last episode dropped. Watched through the entire series in a couple of evenings. It is, genuinely, really good. A lot of this is due to the professional narration which they took from the official audiobook, of course, but the animations, with all the limitations of Source Filmmaker, do still look very cool.
Glad to hear he's expanding in repertoire, and even being hired. I do sincerely hope we avoid the "Space Marines Movie" stuff of being set in a place with no visible features and characters that are barely distinguished, and a plot line that does not matter.

Part four out now as well.
