Nice work on the gallery on last month's, that's a good idea. Might add it to the intro that the vow thread will be officially locked after the mod has made a little gallery at the end of the thread.

Allright:

10 Guardians

4 Black Templars Space Marines
I totally quit 40kO 4-eva!
I knew of the rules yet refused to follow them.
I also most likely had a 1/5 of the Brain.

Okay, I'll play.
I have a City Fight Tournament on December 30, and I want to get my new Eldar done (in my new sceme too)
So here (the crazy) list I'm working to get done.
Farseer
6 Banshees
5 Fire Dragons
20 Dire Avengers
3 Warwalkers
3 Vypers
and 5 Pathfinders

(Unless it's only one squad, then I'll have to make it my Warwalkers, as they're going to be looking awesome)
Wish me Luck ;)

Yea, but my friend did pretty much his entire Tyranid army in a day and night to get it done for a tournament (20 gaunts some warriors and finished his tyrant if i remember right). Only had 3 hours of sleep. So if he can do that, I can get it done in a month :D

Well, Tyranids are pretty much the fastest thing on earth to paint decently (or skeletons maybe) -- doing Eldar is an entirely different ballgame. Good luck with it!

You don't need to sign up all three months yet. Good luck with the defiler. Hellboy did one last month and didn't seem to enjoy it much.

And good luck to Kiarstill and Myung - massive vows there boys. (again for myung)

OK, so this is what I've decided would be a sane idea.

44 dark eldar warriors (including 3 sybarites and a bunch of heavy and special weapons)
3 Raiders
1 Ravager

20 of those warriors are basecoated, but they are not at the level I want them at yet, however there are a bunch I need to strip/spray over.
That won't leave too much for next month so I can get it all painted for the tournament at the end of January.

Oh, and bloody northen hemisphereians and their crazy mixed up seasons.

Okay, here's my vow. 10 possessed marines.
I started to put one together tonight.

Seems a little light compared to the rest. Guess I don't have that much time on my hands.

George -

You're going to clean those mold lines off, right? :) Right? :)

loyd

edit:

I've never liked the Bullwinkle-style ears on the Avatar, and I have a more Swooping Hawks than I'll ever use (I have no idea how I got 20 of them, but I apparently did somehow). This is the result. I'll prime this and the direct mail Ranger fig tomorrow, just waiting on one more fig to finish drying.

Of course I'm going to clean them up. I did the legs before putting it together but just got too excited to do the rest and just wanted to see something finished. It took me the better part of an hour just to do that.

I'm going to strip and then repaint a Space Marine Dreadnought, then if I have enough time I'm going to paint a TrollBlood Axer.

Armies- W/L/D
Tau (2000 pt under construction: assembling & painting) 1/2/1
Space Marines 1800 Points: Dark Angels (under constructions: finish painting) 6/2/2
