Topic: 2000 points scenario list

Next week ill be playing a "stop the ritual" battle vs 2x1000 ig armylists players, (for those who remember wd 291)

Deployment:
-Defender deploys within 18"of center of the board, at least 1 unit must be deployed in a circle, any model in this circle benefits from a 5+ cover save.
-Attacker deploys up to 6" of a short table edge (players choice), any infiltrators are placed up to 12" from the short table edges.

The defender must attempt to have at least 1x5 men unit strong standing in a circle by the end of the game, than he wins. Attacker must attempt to break it either by wiping it from the table and or locking it in close combat.

We removed the sentries part from the original, and added extended Nightfighting.

So what squad are you planning on using for your circle?  I would guess the lesser deamons in this list.  This might be a good chance to use a full 20 man strong squad, be it lessers or CSM, to make as wide a circle as possible to get as many of your troops that 5++.

I was thinking of starting with my Terminators in that circle, reason for this is that against most ig weapons i can use my 2+ save. If the ig get close with some units just to break their circle by means of cc, i can lash them away.

Daemons will form a circle later on when they arrive (if needed).
