Topic: Best "Count as"?

Hey guys!

Obviously the most accurate representation of the most colorful of eldar is EOs Harlequin codex. However, since it isn't an official publication, and thus not allowed at tournaments or official events, what do you think is the next best representation? To be more specific, do you think the CWE or the DE codex is a better stand in when taking your harlies into a more competitive arena?

Personally, I think the DE codex allows a bit more of their speed and cc might to shine, but is pretty restrictive as to the unit types it can portray.

I have seen successful Craftwolders Counts-as lists for Harlequins with Autarch as Great Harlequin, Farseer+ Warlock as Shadowseer and warlocks,Storm guardians as mimes, Banshees and Scorpions as Harlequins, Dark Reapers as Deathjesters and so on. It lends itself quite well, although it is in no way an accurate representation.

Ive seen acouple of DE "stand-in" Harlie armies. Everything was in harlie colors, and their reavers had the old harlie jetbike faceplate (dont know if you can find some of those now though). Wychs were harlies, with the Archon as the Great Harlie, and Haemies as Shadowseer (not a psyker, but a support unit non the less) and warriors as mines. It looked good, and with some good painting can look spectacular

But also Eldar allow for death jesters fill in (dark reapers) and an actual psyker... so its up to you. Although their jetbikes arent as good in h2h like DE bikes are and harlie bikes were
