It's a really nice model but what's totally stunning is the swordblade; extremely realistic I must say. It's also nice to see that it wasn't Uriel Ventris from some scene in Warriors of Ultramar as I feared this when I clicked on the link

Stunning work as always, Gareth. The NMM on the sword, and the freehand work on the cape and greaves are excellent. I never could manage convincing NMM myself, but maybe I'll give it another shot, seeing how it turned out so well on your guy. Nice use of the comany champion's sword as well, I've always thought it was more suited to a captain than the one in the commander box.

That is absolutely fantastic! And in one day? Wow.

The only very very minor complaint I'd have is that the gold on his right knee looks a tad uneven, though it could easily just be the angle.

Otherwise that freehand is just jaw-dropping.

New fex parts (also i have 6 fexes now).

Its part of a 1500pt mech UM force which i just finished.

Looks great! another excellent job by Gareth.

Nice choice in going fo rthe 4th company. I've always liked the look of the green trim. Especially on the UMs. The green ropes are a great touch. The gold is very nice too. not too bright or garish. Nice and muted. the carnifex head is quite cool. Looks scary.
