That fiery orange is incredible and makes that model look even better than it actually is.  That is a seriously good painting technique that you have used there.

Wow Dread, that thing is sweet! That model looks seriously hot, figuratively and literally!

Really great work and an absolute homerun centrepiece. Fantastic.

Thank you so much guys. It's been good fun going at my models again and getting somewhere with them. Now to add to that, my Falcon MRK 2..

And liked it so much, made twins.

I like that Harlequin Dread. I think the colour scheme is spot on and the brushwork on the bulk of the model is very nice. If I could suggest one thing though, it would be to use a slightly thinner brush and thin your paints more when you do the freehand stars on the cloak. It looks fine as is, but I think you could easily take the overall 'wow' factor up a couple of notches by tidying up those cloak details.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with those Falcons; you're vehicles always make me very envious!

Yup, you're so right. I was so tired when I got to that point and should have waited. I painted the star, the top point got rounded so went back with the blue to sharpen it, over did it. Got on that merry go round til I said stop. But have no fear, the sand paper is going after it and then we'll see.

Thanks for the comments guys, really keeps me on track.

As for the falcons, I've waited for GW to upgrade them for a long time. Not that I don't love the original, because I do, but with the prism and spinner turret, which is so cool, I've waited. Now that I've gone through the work of doing these, you know what'll happen....Let's hope.

So, a few years ago I was working on a paint scheme. I practiced on these 2 falcons. Finally I got them out and actually finished them. The 2 new ones will be painted in the same scheme. Herr are the older ones.

I remember the first time I saw Dread's Craftworld Nebula Blog back in 2015. I was blown away then and I am blown away now. That nebula paint scheme is just mind bogglingly brilliant.

Way to drop the mic Dread :) that looks awesome. I tend to paint my marine trophies as space wolves as that's what one of my friends plays.. Needless to say lots of Eldar bits have made their way to his bases lol.
