I must say the foundation paints are great. really cutting down on my reds over a black undercoat and the brown on my bases

Are they available individually yet?

The release date for the individual pots seems to be June 2, at least in the UK. There's a reason I'm doing striking scorpions this month, and waiting until next month to tackle the remainder of my Banshee squad  ;D

I got half my dire Avengers assembled barring their little doo-dahs like ammo and heads....(I put the heads on after paint, lol)

Also, Abbadon't armor is done being re-painted...Black on really large detailed surfaces is a PAIN! He looks sweet now though, just have to do his tabard, trophy racks, tidy up the metallic trim, and base! ( considering I have had this statue since it was released in 2002 I will be happy to finish him! All thanks to this thread! Oh, and Golden Demon Chicago......lol!)
And so, after much wait, BANNED

I'm vowing to try and do my whirlwind this month.  Anything else though I'm not sure about.

Armies- W/L/D
Tau (2000 pt under construction: assembling & painting) 1/2/1
Space Marines 1800 Points: Dark Angels (under constructions: finish painting) 6/2/2

Madefactaque sanguine radix purpureo tingit pendentia mora colore.
The root soaked with blood tinges the hanging fruit with a purple color.

is it bad that I finished my 10 sisters retributor squad, 2 rhinos and my converted excosists already??

Well I did have a 2 day sit in with friends and all we did was play and paint. think we only slept like 3 hours too lol.

anyways working on the 5 sisters Dominion Squad and their Immolator now.

I must say the foundation paints are great. really cutting down on my reds over a black undercoat and the brown on my bases.

i really envy you. i had 3 days off work and couldn't even manage to pick up a brush. and since we are both painting the same race, your success emphasises my failure!

what colour scheme are you going with?

mine is based on the Guardians of the Covenant scheme and looks quite effective (even though i am painting them) but i am using mechrite as the base for the red robes and it is looking good!

oh the standard black red and white scheme. got a really good charcoal custom mix for the highlights using 75% bleached bone and 25% chaos black.

Serious, you should just get the box set as it is cheaper. only 40 bucks US so has to be 20 pounds or so for you.
9,000 pts Eldar - Alaitoc - 6,500 pts Blood Angels
8,000 pts Imperial Guard - 3,000 pts Tryanids
3,000 pts Sisters of Battle - 4,000 pts Orks
2,000 pts Chaos - 1 Massive Crack Addiction

Is it too late for submissions?

If not, I vow:

1 ten man squad of my "Fyrus/Pyros Craftworld" (still deciding on the name) guardians
1 Legion of the damned predator

and possibly

1 harlequin

On course so far for this year...

I'd like to vow 5 Assault Marines this month, please.

The crusades beginning to look a little more dangerous...

If you want to procure my services for anything from painting, terrain building or planet/artwork creation, please get in touch by either sending me a private message, or an email at jamescameronclarke@hotmail.co.uk.

Gatling guns looking nice Gravis.

I've basecoated the robes on my command squad, and re-undercoated white ready for the lighter colours.

My GD army keeps changing, so my vow will likely change.

However, so far I've converted and painted 5 dark reapers (pics to come later when i take em)

Converted a jetbike autarch and primed him

Assembled/primed everything else.

I drop back with an updated "painting" list later

Dark Reapers - Completed, Just converted the bases and painted em, they won a local painting competition as part of a tournament the other day, nothing serious, just 10 entries, still nice to see em do well though.

These may or may not end up in my GD army, but heck, I love 3rd edition reapers and dont care for 4th, so I thought I'd show some of my unpainted eldar some love for once.

I bought a Giant Chaos Spawn today at Gamesday. I will try and get that painted and done before the end of the month.

Gravis, the Gatling guns look sweet, and Targetawg, nice Dark Reapers.

Hey hey!
Here is my progress so far....working slowly. Got all the red done on the brezerkers, and most of the metal done on the defiler. The rhino is going to be mostly black, so it will paint up quick.
