Here I am once again, with another list. I got the idea from playing DoW: Soulstorm.

Warboss-100

So my big question is will it work? It's a little low Anti-Tank wise, but the idea is that there's too many boyz for you to kill them all.

Dude, trust me, in 1k that many can die. I'd say another squad instead of the Kanz if you want to horde it up.

i say bosses, who needs em.
 i run 2 meks with force fields and klaws the hang w/ boyz and a pretty big swarm with dreads,  you deffinately need more anti tank because you wouldent beive haw fast 60 boyz can dissapear to say, guard tanks

tankbustas w/ tankhammers in a truk would a be good to take and dreads with all CC weps can realy shred tanks

I would say drop the battle wagon and use the points to flesh out each unit to 30 boys.

The mek walks behind the cans for the cover/obscured save, give the deff coptas a buzzsaw but only for tank busting, do not even remotly be tempted to use them for CC as they just die. Also put them in seperate squads of 1 so they either are on the board or dead.

I have a buddy that plays a very simular list to yours and he does amazingly well often remembering to hold objectives for the win...

Hordes of 20 boyz arent enough. If anything take two mobs of 30, because as soon as 10 die, you will have to start taking leadership test on their normal leadership.
The cybork body on the warboss to isnt nessicarry. He would most likely gain the cover save of 5+ from the big mek.

But even when You can hold two, other can be contested last turn.
As Eldar I always have bigger problems with horde armies becase there are simply so many.

On the army - I feel that removing cans for more horde is better option. Or maybe some lootas?

Still less than stellar. 2 squads of 30 would be even easier to kill, as firepower will not have to be split as much.

If your worried about objectives, then just take squads of gretchin. At 40 points they can stay in cover the whole game and likely see no action. With two squads of ten you can dominate objective games.

I think this list is fine overall.

One thing I'd recommend is tosplit the two deffkoptaz up.   Granted, this will allow your opponent to grab more killpoints from them, but this is easily made up for by the ability to choose more than one target and their subesquent immunity to all shooting-based leadership tests (units of one model can never suffer 25% or more casualties without being dead first).

Looks good to me it is very similar to my 1000 point list.


the only down side i see is that you obviously will want to shoot with your kanz instead of running that and will slow them down.
Also a zapp gun is a bit of a gamble.

Remeber orks dont need to actually kill tanks we just need to stop them shooting us.
rokkits can glance and glancing can destroy weapons and imobilise and thats all you need. so i would not worry about anti tank.
