Man O'War is coming back.

Quote
Man O’ War: Corsair is a video game of high adventure, naval combat and exploration based on the Games Workshop classic Man O’ War table top game. Play as a rogue Captain of the Empire or Champion of Chaos, personally navigating your vessel in third person across the Great Western Ocean while plundering enemy ships, visiting ports, trading and making legends of your deeds across the land and sea! Engage in boarding actions, with direct control over your Captain and take the fight to the enemy.

Time to see if my Dark Elves' serpents are still surly and intractable after all these years.

This could be very good.  I want to see more footage from the game to be sure though.  Regardless, it's great to see that Man O'War is back on the market in at least some way.

Looks to be about four more months of fine tuning.

Here's the nuts and bolts explained.

The video they had was poorly chosen.  It showed the in game from the Alpha, but that is a very rough looking alpha.  I mean, damn!  The game play from what they are showing looks very reminiscent of Assassins Creed: Black Flag... sort of.

I dunno, I am going to wait to see if it is worthwhile to pick it up.  It really seems like the ball was dropped with that one, and that BFG will blow it out of the waters.

I'll be waiting till the beta at the very least. I like there to be some foundation to the game play before I throw money towards it.

I am also not exactly impressed, I wouldn't even call that gameplay. I mean, I've sen better pre-alphas!?

The important question, though, is:

Will it feature an Exclusively Manowar soundtrack?
