Thanks, Dread, I can see the color shift more clearly now and it looks amazing! So excited to watch you proceed with this mad scheme ;)!

Thanks guys. I've been feverishly painting away. Finally decided on reds for sails and cloth stuff. I did one with bright green sails, just too, well, bright. Will post pics soon. I took them to play today but unfortunately ran out of time for 40k, playing in a kill team campaign so my Gellerpox got a workout. Back to painting.

Wow! That's quite the Raiding party you have Dread!

It's tough to see in the photos, but I imagine that the green/purple shimmer that you have going on is just superb and so fitting for Dark Eldar.

It kinda makes me want to break out some Drukhari and try something similar.

Terrific work Dread, well done!

Where's my text?! I had written text when I put pics up. Anyhow, I almost have my flyers done. Working on troops in a as push to finish. I looked the transfer sheets over but really didn't like to many of them to put on my vehicles. Then I thought, they're not human so don't need insignia.

Flyers are all done! On to other vehicles.

Those are some sick flyers, Dread, I love the one with the nebulae-esque scheme, looks absolutely beautiful. The Razorwings with the color shifting paint seem more uniform in their schemes and don't stand out too much in the images, but I bet they must look sweet in person. I've seen a tutorial using color shifting paints on an Akhelian King, and he looked absolutely incredible.

Thanks. Ya it's really hard to get good pics of them, in person they really shine. The colors were made for this army, in my humble opinion. Hope to have more pics up soon.

Hey Dread, quick question for you, since I know you're doing Daughters of Khaine. How are you planning on painting your Witch Aelves. Are you painting them fully assembled or do you plan to leave the head and hair off as sub-assemblies. Trying to figure out which one I want to do, but sub assemblies seems fairly more complicated since specific heads go with specific bodies and aren't really interchangeable across the entire kit.

I completely assemble them especially since the neck to chin is so tiny. When painting them, the areas you can't see don't need paint anyway. Just is easier. I tried to do Helebrons head/hair unattached years ago but trying to put it on the neck was almost impossible, ended up with a big glue blob that I had to trim and then had to repaint. Hope this helps you.

Been slowly working on the grots...

I made this guy with magnetized arm.

Holy Airbrushing Batman.

Hot damn those flyers are terrific. Amazing work that has me dripping with envy. Luscious work.

Really excited to see more progress with the Golblins and Harkaan World Claimer too.

kill team?

Your light box needs more light :)

I like the different coloured lights on the staff and the liquid in the containers is a nice touch too.

Sweet merciful Dark Gods, cannot wait to see how you tackle the Shadowspear Box. What are your ideas for a paint scheme? I'll be parting ways with my Stormcast soon and will be getting my first few boxes of Chaos myself.

Also, those completed Mechanicus models are absolutely snazzy, love how you picked out all of the little details, really makes them stand out.

Keep it up!

Actually no on KT. But I am painting his team now. Yup I need to work on lighting.

Not sure on paint scheme yet.  Keep bouncing back to my Nightlords colors but want something different. As soon as I get this commission stuff done I'm gonna toy around with them and finish my night gobbos.

Thanks guys

Those Mechanics models are great. It's a shame they're a bit dark in the photo, but you can see the work is top notch.
