Necron Player Ideas for Change

This thread is for people to discuss any new ideas for the Necron army, such as new units, changes to existing units, and variant lists.

im sure there are three threads about this type of subject?
seeing her soaking wet from the splash of the car knowing see is crying but not being able to prove it to her myself or  anybody but most of all the fact she can let it out to never let it out so she will be strong until at where she sits crying crying for love for hope for happiness.....

Like to see adeptus mechanicus cults for a cheaper troop choice.

essence drained human zombie's for more fear cuasing effects but at a cheaper price but other wise useless.

a flying unit that teleports units under it to a new spot where ever it moves. but is very costly.

New C'tan but eh i dont use them too much any ways. unless we are playing a 1000 points and i want to throw my enemy way off.

new wargear allows mind control maybe for a necron army that devots itself to the deceiver? like marks of chaos but a gift of the C'tan??

wargear that allows the lord to take other units as troop choices and makes the warrior that kinda of choice the other unit was.

but then again most of these idea's would ruin the whole necron's are a signle entitiy robot feel.

How about a necron dreadnought with a twin-linked heavy gauss cannon and a close cambat weapon with the option of a guass flux arc. :o

The only idea's I have really have nothing to do with the in game performance, rather the purchasing of the units...

For instance, the hell's the point of buying a single immortal?
Also, I don't see the point of allowing a tomb-spider to summon Scarab swarms when they don't come with any... tomb spiders should come in a small box in packs of 2, with 3-5 swarms with it...

As per in game performance... I'm fine with them. I think they have a specific play style all their own, and should be left the way they are... Sure, lots of people will complain about gauss weapons 6 rules, and the monolith teleport WBB rules... but to hell with them, they don't play necron.. just get owned by them :P

2. Pariah, Give them WWB, A flayer (Upgrade to Blaster for 5 pts) and 2 attacks, 40pts.

Give Wraiths a price hike add another wound and give them power weapons, if they can shift out of phase then those blades should be able to mince armour. If not giving them an extra wound then double the max size of the squad.

I actually like BK's idea of a dreadnought-style unit.

We have tomb-spyders, but they don't really cut it at shooting. Fluff-wise it would seem plausible that the spirits of some the necrontyr were splapped into a larger chassis than the standard necron warrior or immortal bodies. A must in any future units would be different weapon options, so having a choice of either gauss cannon, gauss blaster, or a cc weapon of some type would be cool.
The alternative would be to have its weapons function in a similar manner to Chaos Obliterators, changing between the different gauss weapons or a combination of them as needed.

I've also thought that the Necrons needed some more 'classical' robotic units. I don't mean a little R2D2 with a gauss rifle, but perhaps a small tomb spyder (with a high BS but otherwise lower stat profile) that could fly around taking pot shots with gaus rifles.

GW should pay me for my brilliance.

 :D fox c...lol.. warith should come with a power weapon,how many time do they make there pt back, a chaplan or vet sergeant with a power weapon run right over them,  giveing they 3 or 4 invulnerable save at a time that is no joke!! an good chaplan can do that to.
