Well, for 3 sentinels you could get a Vulture, or maybe a valkyrie.

Yeah the three sentinel idea is already in affect. two autocannon and one lascannon. they're a moblie fire base. and they are all in seperated squadrons.  I want to buy a vulture gunship but it's a matter of points. I really don't want to go over 1000 right now and with a drop troop army troops are important.

One thing I have noticed about this thread is the moaning about prices..... Blame Arabia and america! Plastic is oil based, and who sets the prices for the oil? oil prices drop enough then GW models and FW models may stay the same price or drop too...... but I digress...... to make a sentinel armed with a multi melta all you need is one of the multi meltas from the demolisher and a standard sentinel (Mars pattern) slice the barrel from the multi laser, trim the back of the multi melta untill its completely flat stick it together...... et voila! One sntinel armed with a multi melta. for fuel tanks use the flamer tanks...... it works gentlemen, it works......

i'd rather not, i might as well have an army of metal vahallans or steel legion!!! much cheaper and better looking IMO

I do have an army of metal valhallans...  Back from when guard plastics were non-existent.

love the sentinel, but there's nothing a little plasticard and elbow grease can't replicate on that...now if i can only finish painting my 4 extra catachan pattern sentinels........
