um after last check on the list there was about 1,225 space marine chapters....

but only an dhand ful have their own special rules:
wolves, dark angels, blood angels, templar, white scars, sallamanders, iron hands, imperial fists...i think those are the ones with codices and index astartes articles.

Im always playing BT, and though i dont know rules for normal marines, you can tell how good they are when playin against them and normal vanailla. uhhh sooo annoying. and they call me cheese for useing 1 wraithlord, and a squad of dark reapers!!!

i have played 3 battles against BA and lost all of them

! for some reason i forget about honor gaurd or that stupid furioso. i have come real close but never actually beat him! I am being teamed up with against Dark Angles and Black Templar tomorrow so i'll let you know tomorrow if my view have changed!

for me I hate space wolfs, I'm a dark angels and fallen angels collecter as well so it might be a bit bias but still the long fangs piss me off, ok, I'll shot the two plasma cannons at the striking scorpions/deathwing termis and the lascannons at the big tank

I don't mind black templars you just got to know how to fight them, my favourate eldar unit is a wast the avatar 80pts of pure 'godness', but they hit on a 3+ but you need to lur them and attack form the sides!!!

blood angels are my secound favourtie army so I love them the primarch is me secound favou. (Lion El` Jonson being the first) but the same thing read the rules!!! they don't get the +1 s and i on when charged and the high prist only gets it first round like the rule above and when they charge sot the tarnsports don't worry to much about heavy weapons fire becasue most son't take them unless for some specal reason and use fleet of foot to charge they only get the +d6 if the roll a one, and they numbers rudce becasue of the death company, just use howling banshes,

just rember they is always away around thing unless your up aginst space puppys that seam to be good at everything...

And on the subject, kind of, I saw the funniest thing on the Games Workshop message board! One guys said that it was annoying that his Devastators charged forward once after they were all set up due to the Black Rage. He said that there shouldn't be a Black Rage. I laughed at him and told him that was about the army's only weakness. Then somebody topped him.

"ok, tehn jsut get rid of it fro devastaters."

If you can select which squads enter the Black Rage, they would freak me out way too much... but they can't. The only chapter that Scares me NOT is Darkangels. Just take all starcannons if they go with specialized armies. No it's the black templar and that 'hit on 3+' crap ta bothers me. Thei normal guys almost equal striking scoprions in CC.

It dosnt matter what chapter or for that matter what army your playing its purpose using that army that makes it hard to beat. Every army (and every player) has its weakness you just have to find it ans extort it

Basically its your oppent not their army you should worry about. Both a player and there armies have weakness's. you just have to find them

I fear any chapter that IS NOT standart aka (ones using white dworf rulz or that use standard BA SW ect rules but ARE NOT THAT CHAPTER!!!) none mainstreem things scare me

how many chapter have you seen that use rules for UM or some other chapter but have different fighting styles? different paint jobs?
it IS VERY RARE AND SCAREY!!!

but anyway the BA frighten me... anyone who ever got charged by a pack of rabid dogs would understand why
