I'd like to join, not sure that i could contribute too many rules but i am certain that i could contribute artwork and pics of armies battling (all painted with comlete terrain, think white dwarf)

so if i can get in now then i can see what ppl are doing and start working on stuff in that direction
i'm an art student right now at a design school in the states
check it out @
http://daap.uc.edu/

thanks and good luck to everyone

EDIT: i also have a regular gaming group that i can test rules with and deliver feedback

Well, it's fairly easy to get in.

First thing you need to do, is get more aquainted with the forum. No offence or anything, but that was your first or second post. I don't doubt you're a good guy, with lot's of good ideas, but I'd like for you to become just a bit more familiar with the forum first. As for other requirements, send me a PM with a suggestion for what you can contribute. Show me you can make something good that would go well as a supplement to the current ruleset. Show me some good artwork. In short, show me how you can contribute. We need people with lots of different skills, show me what skills you have.

Give me a sample of your work, so I can see the quality of it. If it's good, you're in as soon as you've matured just a bit more on this forum.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Cheers

You've been playing for long enough I should think. Besides, it's not seneority that makes you a good or bad contribution at any rate.

However, I will need for you to become more familiar with the forum, and how it works first. I suggest checking out the newbies forum, and read through the stickies.
Once you've familiarised yourself with our community, be sure to PM me some sample ideas :)

Cheers

Hi, and Welcome to 40Konline :)

I'd much like to look at it, do you have a weblink? or only the file? If you only have the file, please send it to roy.sorlie @gmail (full adress not supplied due to spam crawlers looking for adresses)

If it looks good, we can include it into the project, and you can give us the big picture, eh?

I'm thinking alot of people will have comments.

I am a decent writer with many ideas. I would love to join. I have many ideas about characters and vehicles. My gaming group could also playtest rules or ideas. Should I send you a bit of my writing to see if I qualify? ;D

Yes please :) Let's see what you've got. We always need playtesters too.

Show me what you can do :)

Oh, and btw, no offence, but I am a bit worried about your high post count. You seem to spend alot of time in the tavern, most of your post count seems to be from there. I  prefer quality over quantity any day.

I believe the Tavern is specially designed so that it does not add to the overall post count.

Yeah, I asked Makenshi about that, and that's true. And since that is the case, I am supposing everything is quite in order :)
