Wraithlords mostly look like  astatic bunch.
I thought it was definately time to change that.

A CD and the usual set of tools, as well as a stroke of genius/temporary memory lapse resulted in..

that really does look so good, i wish i had the time (and imagination!) to convert something as well as that. but then even if idid, id be too worried about ruining it after spending that much money on the model.

great work dude, ill be keeping my eye out for painted pictures. *takes out eye*

Wow, I really love what you've done with the CD there, very stylish. I can't wait to see it finished and painted, should be amazing :)

Are they supposed to be wings? I don't know why, I just don't like it.
Might be due to the old style Scatter Lasers which I dislike.

I simply love it. It has a beautiful fairy like feel to it.

If you don't mind I'd like to take your idea and play with it a little. I am planning a new Harlequin Wraithlord, and I might use angelic or demonic/dragon type wings on it to go with the Harlequin canopy.

ah man, super kick ass. I doesnt look like its falling down, it looks like the sheer power of uber kick assness is keeping it in the hair as it kills more noobs.

I love it, dont change a thing (well if you wanted to make it more bad ass, give it a starcannon to kill more smurfs  ;D ;))

But of course you can play with my wraithlord :p

The wings don't look as cool anymore after undercoating them so I'd have to do an impressive-plus-a-bit paintjob to make them look good again  :-\

I was thinking that you would try covering the wings up before undercoating the model in order to keep them transparent. They looked too cool to paint.

yep. Those are the "I know I should think about something but what was it again?" moments.
I have a lot of those.

I decided to paint them in a NMM style trying to make them look very pink'ish shiney metal like.
Difficult to explain but it's an anime thing kind of.

It gives them a very light look again.
Otherwise I'll have to cut up one more CD and replace the wings.

I'm currently working on a Harlequin wraithlord as well. Not sure if I'm going to give it the same style of wings as well.

That would leave me with the one shown above,

Very nice.  I was thinking of using a Gundam model to make back spines similar to your second model there.  Gonna get the pieces from a friend this weekend.

The 1st lord's head is turned wierd... Your 2nd one has always been my fave... i always loved the pose and wire...
