Steam punk dwarf sky pirates are a thing now.

I repeat, steam punk dwarf sky pirates are a thing now.

I honestly can't remember the last time I've been this exited for a new GW release, ever.

Those are some of the coolest minis I've seen in a long time. If I could get somebody else to play, I'd be building this army in an eyeblink.

Agreed Wyddr. Those models are fantastic.

I know that GW moved away from Squats an awfully long time ago, as they didn't have a good concept...well I feel they just used that concept creating these guys.

Terrific models and a heck of a theme. As much as I disliked the Fyreslayers, I love these guys.

I seriously couldn't be more happier for this release! I'm actually really really excited to get into AoS now!

Is it Apiril yet?  :P

I'm keen to see how all these guns and potential transport vehicles are going to work.  Could be an insight into how a simplified 40k might work.

But I'm more keen to just get my damn flying dwarf pirates already!   :o

Well, considering I'm not a player, my opinion matters very little, but I just can't seem to enjoy these too much. Maybe I'll "get it" as the wider range gets more "Sigmarified", but right now I can't help but feel that these guys feel too high-concept, with little to no grounding and thus not really something I manage to feel invested in. There's the lack of actual dwarf faces, for examples, though I'm sure a little bit of conversion would fix that for an actual collector.

I mean, they're cool, I've probably just not updated my aesthetic expectations to the Brave New World of Age of Sigmar.

I love how they are moving away from the Tolkien-esque High Fantasy aesthetic and doing their own thing. These models look amazing, but I'm more excited for the Blades of Khorne!

I'm really looking forward to Blades Of Khorne too.  My Bloodbound need a boost, and I wanted to throw demons into the mix too.

It's also great that GW are doing their own thing aesthetically.  Build the brand.

Also, random destruction is the worst Allegiance Trait, I cannot wait to see what we get!
