Ghoul King in White Dwarf 380
« on: February 12, 2013, 05:06:31 AM »
In White Dwarf 380 (page 21) there's an army list for Vampire Counts, the Lord is described as a Level 3 Vampire Lord with Ghoulkin, Infinite Hatred and Summon Ghouls riding a Terrorgheist.

I can't find Ghoulkin or Summon Ghouls anywhere in my army book, can someone tell me where they are? Also, according to my army book the only character who can ride a Terrorgheist is a Strigoi Ghoul King but there is no option to increase his wizard level.

Am I missing something or have White Dwarf just got it disastrously wrong?

Thanks.

Don't have it on hand, but I believe that White Dwarf pre-dates the current Vampire Counts book. The rules for the Terrorgeist initially came out in a White Dwarf and there was a reasonable gap before the new army book so you're probably looking at a list made during that time.

They are both from 2011, and the White Dwarf says it contains an official update for the army book so unless they released a new book almost immediately after an official update (which seems a bit pointless) then you would assume the update was for the new book.

No, Khemri's right. The update was to fan the fires of interest before a full release, as they've just done with Warriors of Chaos.
