« on: July 16, 2002, 04:46:47 AM »
Some of new models is really bad. I mean, the bloodthirster. It looks like a rat. And Juggernaught (or something like that, can't spell) is really bad. They all look to...i don't know...geeky??? i Thínk the old ones were pretty good.Still....the old bloodthirster was not so pretty eather!

                                     What do you think?

Yeah, but the old 'Thirster looked mean. They're trying to go back to the old image of Khorne being a dog like creature and all those minis really really sucked! Thankfully, you can still get the old 'Thirster mini through UK Mail Order.
Death to the enemies of Lord Argroth!

Think you can beat the name Lord Argroth? Then please send me a Personal Message with a cool name for a Khorne Lord but one which also fits in with normal Black Legion armies PLEASE!

Yeah but Slaanesh followers aren't real men. I mean who would walk around threatening people with a speaker and a siren? ;)

It's that spitting dinosaur off of Jurassic Park. The one that kills the fat man  ;D But I gotta admit that the new Bloodletters minis do rule compared to the old ones. They look more demonic now. Shame the rules are still a bit poor considering that they're supposed to be HtoH specialists.

I think the bloodthirster looks the same as b4, you know except for the squashed face, and different body etc, but i aint seen the new keeper of secrets, it has to be an improvement on the old one, i cant se how the lord/mistress of pleasure who favoured servants are "fine" looks like that, it should be a fit woman, with serpantine tail instead of legs and of course huge (.)(.) no not eyes ;)

Sorry, couldn't help it.  my closet geekyness coming through.
But lets be honest, a comment like that is just asking for a monty python quote.... ::)

Well the new Daemon Prince (very 40k) and some of the new Chaos Space Marine models (I'm talking about the Thousand Sons) are really cool. I agree with you guys on the bloodthirster though it just doesn't look right. You can go scratch it's tummy and it would fall over.

The to-be-released Obliterators are a huge improvement over the current models, and the chaos-spawn is better too IMHO.

The new US WD has an image of it.  The only improvement I saw was that its claws were purple and different.  Maybe the skin tone's different too, but I'm not much of a Slaanesh guy.  Some of those Deamonettes, on the other hand, are very striking.

i also think that the new models are not as good as the old ones
