Suppose Grotsnik is in a unit which has gone to ground? Would the unit still be forced to move towards the closest unit? Can a unit Grotsnik is with choose to go to Ground?

I'd say no, as Grotsnik must move as far as possible, so I would assume that anything that he could normally do to willingly prevent his movement would be illegal.
