If I fail my morale check but pass a mob check, does that trigger the No Retreat! rule, like marines using And They Shall Know No Fear if they fail to get away from their opponents?

Right.  No retreat is for units that don't have to take a check at all.  When an Ork Mob takes a Mob Size Check, it is taking a check (even if you know you will automatically pass it).
