Topic: 600pts Army List Ideas

Hey all - hope this request/question/help is okay here

I have not been on here, or in the playing world of 40k proper since 5th ed.

So I was wondering if any one has got any ideas for a half decent 600pt army - as I seriously have no clue to be honest.

The general models that I have that I can recall are;

x20 D.Avengers
x20 Guardians
x5/6 S.Scorpions

x5/6 W.Spiders
x6 Rangers

x3 W.Lord

x10 Harlequins
x2 Death Jester
x2 Shadowseer
x2 H.Jetbikes
(Although a detachment of these most likely not good as low points)

This just a rough estimate really of what I have ...

But if any one has any ideas of what would be good and fun to play are welcome

Generally it is best to throw a list together for us to critique than for us to write one for you. There are a lot of different play styles and opinions here

What kind of army would you like to field? Based on your models, you can't run the new warhost options, save for some formations but might not fit into 600pts. Why are we limited to 600? What about 1k or 1500? You will have to run a CAD either way.

A farseer, 2x guardian defender squads with platforms and a Warlock and a unit of Avengers with a wave serpent is a good place to start though.

I recommend that you put a list together yourself, and then members here can suggest improvements to it from looking at your model collection.  Most people here don't usually write army lists for others for the reasons Partninja has given.

I think an Aspect Host made from your Banshees, Scorpions and Spiders, with a Cast of Players using a squad of Harlequins, a Shadowseer and Death Jester could scarily flesh out 600.
