Topic: Need Help With Large Battle!!!

I’ve never been able to make a army list this size but now me my friends have arranged a large battle and I get to be the sole commander of mine and my friends ork models. I am able to use 4k of points and my friends are using 2k of marines, 1k of Eldar and finally 1k of Imperial Guard. Eldar army is very infantry based but the Imperial army is tank heavy and the marine army is quite balanced. Any help would be appreciated as I’ve never been in a battle this size.

Tactics

•   All Boyz footslog except the twenty man Ard Boy squad which get the battlewagon.
•   Zog slogs it with one of the 30 man slugga squads.
•   Warbikers do not turbo boost first turn so they can dakka gun some weaker infantry.
•   Deffkoptas and Buggies go tank hunting.
•   Warboss and Meganobz ride in turkk and hit whatever HQ they can get to.
•   One Loota squad targets light infantry the other targets any tanks that they can actually damage.
•   Big Gunz target infantry.
•   Looted Wagon hides and targets infantry.
•   Dredds tank hunt into in assault range when they any infantry in range.
•   Flash Gitz roam and shoot hopefully attract fire with my friends conversions makes them look farely scary.
•   Stormboyz hurtle forward and assault infantry.

 if this is going to be an apocolpys game.. rearange your forces my green freind.

 the green tide.. look it up is your friend. you'll be in close combat and fearlessly waaghing every turn right up to his front lines as fast as a squig in heat.

we arent doin it as an apoc were just doin a large normal as we dont have any of the apoc rules

 i hate to be a disconserting person.. but if your playing that large a game. the apocolpys rules would be a mild nessity. maybe not, but it would make it faster and smother not to mension funner.

 but if there realy is no way to get your hands on a copy.

 you need more big guns!! cover your boys while you slog forwards..maybe even a few small storm boys or deff koptas to tie up his worst shooting squads.. expect them to costumize there list against you. so you ARE gona eat alota lead for a few turns..

 plan B is.. do what they dont expect!!!.

  take eavy heavy choice you can load up on large mobs.. but sit back and dont run to them.. make them come to you!!
 PLAY OUT SIDE THERE BOX!!

 then when they come to you or start siting all there shootest squads at range.. drop in with the camandos!

We are gaining an apoc rules book soon but we didnt know whether to wait fpor the new ed is apoc goin to be affected??
