As the title suggests, what is your faveourite weapon? i have a special place in my heart for the dragunova SSV-58 http://securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/0900/963.htm

I also like the barret m82a1 http://securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/0000/20.htm

My third fave gun is a shotgun, the one which mouse has 2 of when he dies on the matrix1, i forgot the name of it, but basically its a riot control shotgun with a circular mag, like a grenade launcher.

I'm partial to the UMP-45, It's a sub-machine gun that packs quite a punch. If only I could find out where to buy one...

I have a few favorites:

AK-47 -- The most widely-used gun ever, it is cheap and easily purchased.

Of course, who could pass up a good pair of MP-5s?

M4A1 with underslung M203 grenade launcher. Sweet ass gun, multi purpose. You can nver go wrong

My favorite weapon is the McDonnal-Douglas ICBM with any size nuclear warhead, for household vermin, or small game hunting. I keep one armed by the front door.
For home defense, I usually use a Remington 12-guage, with 000 shot, or a 120 lb crossbow. Nothing says 'get out of my home' like 3" of an 8" bolt protruding from your sternum.

The Heckler&Koch G36, the standard armament of the german Bundeswehr. It´s too sweet a gun, weighs less than 5 KG has a kind of laserpointer and a scope with 3* magnifier, all black, in a durable polymer, and almost no recoil..... I LOVE THIS RIFLE!
I shot it at the german airforce when i did my service, and let me tell you, this is the only thing i really miss now (although the "patriot" missile launcher was quite fascinating too).

we had this thread before - infact the last one was started by steamboat willy themself.

ANYONE who says the desert eagle is the coolest gun ever needs to:
A) stop playing CS - the game is horribly innacurrate
B) try using the real thing - its not that great a weapon, and infact its neither the most powerful handgun ever or the largest firing hand gun ever - besides, bigger is not neccesarily better
C) do some REAL research into firearms

My fav guns are: MP-5, Kar98, Colt M4A1, AK-47, Colt M1911, and OICW (Objective Individual Combat Weapon)

The coolest concept gun would be a HK G11. It fires caseless ammo so it doesn't need to waste any time ejecting spent cartridges, which results in greatly increased ROF.

I'm partial to the new Walther (P38 I believe), which is modeled by James Bond in his newest movies.

Favorite hunting weapon (ducks, etc) is a Remington 870 Express Super Magnum. (actually, any 870 series)

SPAS 12? The star of such movies as Jurassic Park and the original Matrix. Gotta love those Frenchies for something--they can sure make an assault shotgun.

I second that. They are a crap gun that looks good.
