Thanks guys. It means a lot. I've always had a hard time coming up with a scheme for them. I also have an order name for them "the Cerulean Shroud". Can still use them as any major orders rules. Now if I can write, IlL try to create a back story but later, paint first. Will post more soon.

So I had to do a wash on the robes, glad I did.

That looks even better; I was going to suggest washing the turquoise with some Coelia Greenshade. But I wasn't sure if that constituted feedback or criticism :)

Thanks guys. I think I may have to tackle the face. But will wait til I get some of the big basing on the units first. Also gonna have to go back and work on Celestine and her girls and Veridyn to make them match.

Got to give it to the sculptor, the iconography on the robe and the clip buttons are nice touches. The gold trim is a nice pairing too.

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been baron here of late. I have several irons in the fire project wise, just no real completions. I did go get me another unit for my Nighthaunt army and began assembly. Now this being one of GWS prettiest models I have to say one of the worst to assemble next to the Hexwraiths. The spirit hosts!

So I have 3 down and 6 to go.

I've also been picking a little on my gobbopalooza, just so much little details to look after.

I will keep plugging along. Also have a commission job for Sanguinius(sorry for spelling) that I just finished magnetising and primed, will post pics on that one soon.  8)

Awesome work, Dread. As someone that has attempted to assemble spirit hosts before, holy amphetamine parrot those are the worst models I've ever attempted to assemble! I think I did assemble one after a couple of hours of experimenting lol ;D.

And to start with, I cut the first part out and then the little face piece which popped outta my fingers and the carpet ate it. Looked for 20 minutes and gave up. Almost got up and quit before I even started, haha. Stuck it out and 2 hours later, 3 done.

Looking good Dread, Gobblins looks like a lot of fun to paint.

Nighthaunts look great, but man all those thin pointy bits, must be a pain to try and travel with them.

You got that right magenb, they do get tangled together sometimes too.

So I finished the commission I was doing and it's helped get me back to painting. Here's some pics.

I magnetized the rock section of the diaroma so you can play with just him.

Stay tuned...more to come!

Thanks bud. About 12 hours paint time. I also forgot to mention I magnetized the hand. When on the diaroma the hand is made on the demons horn so when off, the open hand can be put on. Try drilling that small, whew it was tedious.

Cool stuff! And a good call on magnetizing him; he's to cool a model to just sit on a shelf the rest of his life.

And my completed mighty warships.
