ok - does anyone else feel this way:

flamed/quilted/matched maple might look pritty and all - but nothing beats the sheer beauty of good old mahogany grain
subtle as a sledge hammer

Nah, pure black or deep red is the way :D
I carry with me an Inquisitorial Seal. It is a small, unassuming object contained in a neat box of Pluvian obsidian. It is a modest thing. I prefer curly maple or ash. Mahogany is sorta plain looking.
