Gimli stares down the undead horror and swipes at it with his axe, cleaving it in twin, leaving rotten remains on the flagstones.
Rudolph raises his pistol and takes aim, and shoots Gimli squarely in teh back of the head, drawing blood even through the helmet.

Just as Gimli is about to strike again the undead thing lurches at him, clinging pitifully to his arm, but failing to scratch him. Around the corner, however, shambles yet another oe of the things, coming down the alley.

Gimli kills the target, Rudolph shoots and inflicts a single wound. Note that pistols count as “Piercing”, meaning anything over T9 is considered T9. Sort of a fantasy-version of Lance.

[[Also, don't forget Nellin can move through heroes and even monsters with his sneak,m should you wish to deploy him.]]

I'll make Caelia's move once the others have taken their turn, since more opportunities may open up, depending on their actions.

As Gimli is splitting one opponent in half, he felt a hard blow to the back of his head. But pain was another one of those things, he wasnt able to process right now. With a roar of pure, undrunken rage, he raises his axe, aiming for the remaining zombies head.

Assuming that Gimli is pinned, perhaps the best option would be for Lonewolf to say where Gimli would move to if he smites the zombie that he is fighting, and then we can all make moves in the hope that Gimli's attack is successful?

Can Gimli walk after an attack? If so, he will move his full movement to the left, if he should manage to kill the zombie.

The undead thing clings to Gimli, who easily dispatches it. It falls apart under the heavy blow.
Pressing on down the alley to try to round the corner of the church the undead corpse shambles up the side of the house to attack Thod. It claws the air, hissing, but fails to even scratch the big man.

Gimli hits and kills the walking corpse.
Gimli moves his full move (3 - he is not fast and has a lot of heavy armour).
The next undead fails to hit Thod at all.

Being so confined in the narrow streets was frustrating Caelia no end.  Still unable to find a clear line of vision past all the houses to hit the approaching zombies she resorts, once again, to just covering her comrades.

Gimli, finally free of obstacles for the moment, again focuses on the task at hand.

Gimli moves one square to the left and 2 up.

I think we need to reorder our marching order we are in a timed quest and our speed is stuck to three at the moment and maybe consider splitting up? a common occurance seems to be two maybe three people able to interact and a few others relegated to watching given that we are timed after we dispatch this zombie how about we go south in two groups one left and one right?

Rudolph finally free to join the melee moves to the rear of the zombie ready to bisect the abomination across the waist. While Lori has finally stopped grumbling to himself about the passage of time and old bones and appears to have noticed that his comrades are fighting something.

Thod grinned as the undead thing swung at him.

"TO SLOW!" he bellowed as he easily slid backwards out of its reach. Lunging forward he swung the blade in a diagonal arc, starting low and cutting up and across.

We could split the party into two groups of three, but Caelia will need someone who is very strong in melée to accompany her, as she has no close combat weapons of any kind ;).

That sounds good to me Wiggus, let's try it.  Once we've finished off the last zombie, I'll have Caelia move back, and then to the right, so that the melée guys can move north ahead of her (if they want to go that way), or have her just follow them if they want to proceed south along the passage which the zombies came from.

Should space open up, during the melee, Thod will try and move left and down, while still engaging the monster

Thod raises his blade and cleaves the undead thing with ease, the putrid remains tumbling to the street.
Gimli wanders around the corner, noticing the church door and an alley heading off ot the west, as well as north, to the corner of the church. The street to the west has some houses, but more importantly more of those undead things slowly shambling down the alley!
As Rudolph with Lori in tow passes Caelia and heads north they see another group shambling around the corner! This group has two shambling rotting corpses and another one with one of those ice-dripping daggers.
Thod gets to the end of the street by the city wall but can see no doors or movement down the alleys either west nor east.
Nellin hurriedly follows Gimli.

Thod passes Bravery, hits and kills the thing easily.

[[Hope I got all the moves right]]

Finally standing at the entrance to the town church, Gimli kicks the door open and roars: BEER! WHERE?!

Gimli opens the door.

We must find the source of these undead!  Caelia exclaims.

Caelia will follow the others around the north-east loop of the central section, crossbow at the ready, even though there won't be a possibility to shoot.

Hmm - not quite as far as I wanted Thod to move lol

Should space open up, during the melee, Thod will try and move left and down, while still engaging the monster

Highlighted the relevant part. Since the monster was slain, Thod would not have moved - should the monster have been alive, Thod would have moved at most one left and one down.
