This army is my first attempt at anything that has treads... (including my smurfs!)  So i am a newb at vehicle strategy... i didn't know what to put... but take a look!

well, you asked me to comment... I was too lazy to read the boring old list. I read the first paragraph in that guys link and then got bored. But, I will still comment like I know everything there is to know about mech infantry... sounds like it is a bad idea... your list lacks in heavy support... give your commander a cc weapon. I'd say stick with your Elsans (or however you spell it)

i take it your tactics are to spread out and destroy using mass AT fire?

Why exactly is your force mechanised? what do you hope to gain from loads of chimeras considering most of your firepower is move or fire only?

Also, what the heck do you intend to do against swarm armys (assaulty guard, tyranids, orks, kroot)? Id strongly advise you either squeeze a hellhound or two in there, or swap some of chimera weapons for heavy flamers. 

These are just suggestions, personally i love the short range mech army, with tons of flamers and meltas, while using the chimeras to surround my target and isolate it. But its just taste, and ive heard some people like concentrating on AT and leaving the chimeras for AP duty, to me, this seems stupid because it makes your lasguns useless.

Yeah, I am going to trade out the heavy weapons for meltas and flamers, like my Elysians.

That should hopefully give me some points left over to get a griffon or hellhound
