How about that MLB?

Anybody here like American baseball? Yankees AND the Braves are out and that's cool. What's even cooler is how the Twins are going to take the World Series.
No Wild hockey makes Ilfirin a dull boy U of M hockey fan!

You know I could be just like you.

homer simpson summed it all up perfectly :

"i never knew how boring this game could be without beer"

simple fact is if your not a drunk or a drinker, baseball isn't very entertaining (cept maybe if you catch the highlights on tv and theres really nothing else on)
subtle as a sledge hammer

Personally, I find the other choices of American sports dull (i.e. Basketball, Football).

I love everything about baseball: the pacing, the sights, the sounds, the taste of the hot dogs and the warm beer.  It helps if you keep score, too.

Baseball's history is unparalleled (at least in popular American sports).  The nostalgia is all part of the charm.

I *will* admit that I cannot conceive of how people find it entertaining on TV.  It's nice to have it on when you're doing something else to keep you busy, but being at the field in person is the best experience.

ha ha! maybe the Yankees ran out of money.  They'll probably snatch up Edgardo Alfonzo as a free agent, and get like, 3 series next season.  stupid Mets, fire the coach and give up the strongest player... I could smack that Phillips, and that whole publishing dealie that owns them
