Thanks Nightwalker, the Go Big or Go Home comp really took center stage over the past month and is truthfully an amazing collection of WotW member's work.  Now that its over (well except for the judging and the people's choice) I find myself scratching my head as to my next build.  Sure the next WotW build event is at least a month or two away, but when you have that itch you gotta scratch it.  I'll give a toof to anyone that PMs me a suggestion for my next build.

Peace
~OD
Truly beautiful work. That's the kind of stuff that makes a true mekanik cry tears of joy.

I really enjoyed Orktober, it was fun. Saw a ton of impressive models during the GBOGH competition. But just thought I would thank the Bosses on running such a great month for us. Thanks guys ;D

You are very welcome.  I am glad it got such a high turn out.  I was amazed at the amount of heavy hitters and the quality of work that came out.   OD did an amazing job at coordinating and coming up with scenarios for the campaign as well.

Both events had a massive amount of views.  I think we might have made the other POC's / COC's green with envy.

Thanks again to everyone who participated.  We will soon learn the outcome of the events and it will be posted.    Don't forget we will be doing a Peoples Choice vote for the Light Weights and Heavy Hitters categories, so even if you didn't get to participate makes sure to watch for it and vote for your favorite models.

AoD, Ravyn, thanks for feedback.

Thought stuff for Go Big ... was immense. I've only done the one mob of 20 boyz. Might have made the deadline, but I was too busy stompin. That's right. Another double victory. Battle report to come. In the meantime, a pic of my too-late-for-the-competition Orktober mob.

Echoing the sentiments above, I just want to thank the bosses for all the work they put into the orktober. Turns out that I picked the very best time to join the green team, I had a lot of fun!

And a thanks to all those who participated.

Now it is everyone's time to vote on their Favorite Heavy Hitter and Light Weight.   You have one week to get your votes in and you can only vote once in each category.    You are the judge for the People's Choice Vote.   Now lets go out and vote and support all your hard working greenskins.   They really did a great job.

Congrats again to everyone and thanks to all those who participated and voted.   A special thanks also goes out to all of our celebrity judges, and to Changeyname who created our voting polls.

In other news I participated in the first battle in the chaos invasion for the Firestorm over Peligro Campaign my LGS is putting on.   It was a massive battle in which the well paid Dark Eldar tried to defend the city of Leal from the oncoming chaos invasion.

Battle Report can be seen here...

Third Place: OD from TV's Mek

Not like I'm going to argue too much, but I do believe that you're mistaken AoD.  According to the totals from Lomandalis:
Log's Warboss, although missing being tied for second by half a point, claims the third place in this.
Personally I'd use that model as a Dread, what with him being the size of an Avatar, but it's one awesome kustom job if you ask me.

*sigh* real life is calling.  Back to the grindstone.

Peace

Some good stuff going on, lets keep doing some more good stuff.

As always; if I missed anybody, or any teef earning activity, feel free to PM me and I will get your account updated tootie sweetie (for all you new guys, that is Ork French for "right quick").

On a different note; December is rapidly approaching. I don't want to give away too much, but I suggest dusting off those bit boxes and getting your modeling station prepped.

Also how do you post pictures in a post. I have looked through the forum and can't find anything.

Upload your photos to a picture site like Photobucket, and then to put them into your posts as clickable thumbnails, the formatting is as follows (with props to SKEETERGOD who showed me how to do this):

[ url=www.photo.com/myphoto1.jpg ][ IMG ] www.photo.com/th_myphoto1.jpg [ /img ][ /url ]

You need to add "th_" to the start of the actual filename in the IMG tags, but not in the URL tags. Don't worry about renaming the photo, this is just telling the computer that you want a thumbnail. And obviously I've typed it with extra spaces so you can see what's going on, you don't need these for your actual pictures.

The best way to check if anything isn't working is to use the Preview button when you've finished your post, and check that everything's looking ok.
