Some nasty things in here, but they cost command points, for the really good stuff, or a minor buff to already good melee units.

However pay attention to the anti-pysker stuff.. youch!

Looks pretty tasty for sure. I can't wait to see how the rest of the book plays out. Hopefully some changes to obliterators.

Looks pretty nasty to me. Glad I don't play chaos that often, this looks really scary to be up against.

They're certainly going to make life challenging for psykers to say the least.  The army looks very characterful too and the idea that their best form of defence is to charge forward fits entirely with the lore.  They'll be fun to play for a lot of players I'm certain.

I'm surprised that neither World Eaters not Emperor's Children are getting their own codex, while Death Guard and Thousand Sons are.  That seems very odd to me.

Give it time. I bet it's coming eventually.

Thousand sons and death guard are getting their own books, as they have their own seperate line of miniatures. None of the other legions do.

Sort of like the comparison between space Wolves and salamanders. Salamanders won't get a seperate book, as they have dont have enough unique units to Warrent it. Space Wolves on the other hand do.

World Eaters and Emperor's Children have exactly as many unique miniatures as either Ksons or Death Guard did before they got a codex (one unit, one character). All the unique units for those Legions were released alongside or in anticipation of their codex.

If it happened once, it can happen again.

I'm so stoked. I cant wait to have my 19 Berskers + Kharn disembark from my Storm Eagle and just slaughter. These dudes could clear an entire army on a good turn. Fantastic buffs for the World Eaters. They were scary when 8th dropped, they are absolutely insane now.
