Topic: Which paints should I get?

I was planning on going with a goffboys or maybe speed freaks theme, and was wondering which paints I should get? I bought the hobby starter kit but I don't feel as if it has sufficient colors to begin painting yet.

Also, if anyone has a better theme to suggest please do so. I'm decent at painting, but suck at thinking up my own believable schemes.

Well there are quite a few ways to do Orks.

I'm not familiar with the hobby starter kit, what paints do you have?

Tallarn flesh, gunmetal, mechrite red, undercoat black, knarloc green, mordian blue, white, calthan brown, iyanden darksun (a mustard yellow)

I also bought a can of Chaos Black spraypaint.

Right, I suggest you get your hands on some Badab Black wash.

That and the paints you've got would give you the stuff you need to do a fairly rough and ready job. You do the skin Knarloc Green, the leather Calthan Brown and the clothes Mechrite Red or Iyanden Darksun ( red and yellow, perfect for Speed Freekz). Guns are Boltgun Metal, obviously. If you picked up some Dheneb Stone as well, that would go for the teeth and nails.

Then you wash the whole thing with Badab Black, which provides all your shades. Quick and easy, perfect for beginners.
